Kneeling Hip-Flexor Frontal

Setup

  1. Begin in a kneeling position on a mat, placing both hands on the floor in front of you.

  2. Extend one leg straight out to the side, keeping your foot flat on the floor with your toes pointing forward.

Movement

  1. From the starting kneeling position, shift your hips backward, moving them toward your grounded heel.

  2. You should feel a stretch in the inner thigh of the extended leg.

  3. Hold the position at the end range of motion for the desired duration or return to the starting position under control.

  4. Keep your spine neutral and your hands planted firmly on the floor throughout the movement.
