Hold Side-Plank with Arm Raised
Instructions
Setup
Begin in a forearm side plank position resting on one forearm, with your elbow directly beneath your shoulder.
Stack your feet on top of each other or place one in front of the other for increased stability.
Keep your body in a straight line from your head to your feet, engaging your core and glutes to keep your hips lifted off the floor.
Execution
Once balanced, extend your free arm straight up toward the ceiling, creating a 'T' shape with your body.
Keep your gaze directed toward your raised hand or forward to maintain a neutral neck position.
Maintain this position for the desired duration while minimizing movement of your torso and hips.
Keep your core tight and ensure your hips do not sag toward the floor.
