Instructions

Setup

  • Find a clear, straight path, such as along a baseboard or a line on the ground.

  • Stand tall, looking straight forward rather than down at your feet.

  • Extend your arms out to your sides to help with balance.

Movement

  • Step forward, placing the heel of one foot directly in front of the toes of the opposite foot. Ideally, your heel and toes should be touching or as close as comfortably possible.

  • Distribute your weight evenly through your feet as you take each step.

  • Continue walking in this heel-to-toe fashion for the desired number of steps or distance.

Form Tips

  • Keep your core engaged to maintain stability.

  • Maintain an upright posture throughout the movement.

  • If you lose your balance, simply reset and continue from where you left off.
