Instructions

1. Stand upright with your feet together, arms extended out to your sides at shoulder height.

2. Shift your weight onto your left foot.

3. Stepping sideways, move your right foot out as far as is comfortable.

4. Allow your left knee to bend slightly as you step out to maintain balance.

5. Step back to the starting position bringing your feet together.

6. Repeat the motion, this time shifting your weight onto your right foot and stepping out to the side with your left foot.

7. Keep your arms raised to shoulder height throughout the movement.

8. Continue alternating sides for the desired number of repetitions or time duration.

Make sure to keep your body upright and avoid leaning excessively to the side as you step out. This will help ensure that your adductors, gluteus medius, and minimus are properly engaged. Also, keep the movements controlled to maximize the benefit to your muscles and to maintain balance.
