Instructions
Starting Position:
Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
Keep your arms relaxed at your sides.
Movement:
Step forward with your right foot, bending your knee as you lower your body into a slight lunge.
As your right foot lands, simultaneously bring your left knee up towards your chest.
Swing your arms forward; your left arm should move forward while your right arm remains at your side.
Step back to the starting position.
Repetition:
Repeat the movement with your left foot stepping forward while your right knee comes up.
Continue alternating legs in a fluid, rhythmic motion.
Form Tips:
Keep your back straight and core engaged throughout the exercise.
Focus on landing softly on each step to minimize impact on your joints.
Use your arms to help maintain balance and momentum.
Breathing:
Inhale as you prepare to step and exhale as you step forward and lift your knee.
Duration:
Perform for 30 seconds to 1 minute, resting for 15-30 seconds between sets as needed.
