Instructions

Setup

  • Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, keeping your core engaged and back straight.

  • Hold a dumbbell in each hand with your arms fully extended alongside your thighs, palms facing each other.

Movement

  • Phase 1 (Front Raise): Keeping your arms straight, lift them directly in front of you until they reach shoulder height.

  • Phase 2 (T Position): From this forward position, keep your arms at shoulder height and slowly move them out to your sides until your body forms a 'T' shape.

  • Phase 3 (Return): Reverse the motion by moving your arms back to the front at shoulder height, then lower them slowly back to your starting position.

Tips

  • Avoid using momentum; control the weight throughout the entire range of motion.

  • Keep your core braced to prevent swinging or arching your lower back during the move.
