Instructions
Setup
Stand with feet hip-width apart, holding a pair of dumbbells at your sides with a neutral grip (palms facing your body).
Movement
While keeping your core engaged and avoiding momentum, lift the dumbbells in front of you.
Keep your arms straight or with a slight bend in the elbows.
Maintain the neutral grip throughout the range of motion.
Lift until your arms are approximately parallel to the floor.
Pause briefly at the top to emphasize the peak contraction of the anterior deltoids.
With a controlled motion, lower the weights back to the starting position.
