Instructions
Start in a standing position with your feet together and arms extended to the sides at shoulder height.
Jump and spread your legs wider than shoulder-width apart while simultaneously crossing your arms in front of your chest.
Immediately jump again, uncross your arms, and return your legs back to the starting position with feet together and arms extended out to the sides.
On the next jump, spread your legs again but this time cross your arms the opposite way from the first cross (if the left arm was over the right arm last time, this time cross the right arm over the left).
Continue alternating the cross of your arms with each jump as your legs continue to open and close like a traditional jumping jack.
Maintain a quick pace and keep your movements fluid and controlled throughout the exercise.
Perform the motion for the desired number of repetitions or a set period, focusing on maintaining form and breathing rhythmically.
The animation sequence provided shows the arms being extended and then crossed in front of the chest, which aligns with this exercise's arm movement component. The leg motion, which is not shown in the images, will mimic a traditional jumping jack opening and closing.
