Instructions

Starting Position

  • Sit on the floor with knees bent and feet flat.

  • Place your palms on the floor behind you, fingers pointing away from your body.

  • Lift your hips slightly off the floor, engaging your core and triceps.

The Movement

  1. Knee Tuck: Lift one foot off the mat and draw the knee toward your chest while maintaining balance on your supporting hand and foot.

  2. Toe Touch: Simultaneously reach your opposite hand diagonally toward the lifted foot, briefly touching the toe or shin while twisting your torso to engage the core.

  3. Return: Lower the hand to the floor and place the foot back down to the starting position.

  4. Repeat: Alternate to the other side, continuing in a controlled, fluid rhythmic motion.

Form Tips

  • Keep your chest held up and shoulders pulled back throughout the movement.

  • Avoid letting your hips sag down toward the floor.

  • Maintain a steady breathing pattern, exhaling as you tuck and touch, and inhaling as you return to the start.
