Instructions

Setup

  • Stand on a mat with your feet together, maintaining an upright posture with your core engaged.

Movement

  • Squat Phase: Step one foot out to the side while simultaneously lowering into a controlled squat position. Keep your chest up and weight primarily in your heels.

  • Clap Phase: As you move into the squat, bring your arms forward and clap your hands together in front of your chest.

  • Return Phase: Push through your heel to return to the starting standing position as you bring your feet back together. Simultaneously, open your arms wide to complete the movement.

  • Repetition: Continue this fluid motion, alternating sides or continuously stepping out, maintaining a steady pace without the jump to keep the movement low-impact.
