Instructions
Setup
Standing tall, position yourself safely behind a sturdy chair. Place your hands lightly on the top or backrest of the chair for balance. Keep your feet hip-width apart and your core engaged.
Movement
Slowly rise onto the balls of your feet, lifting your heels as high as possible while maintaining a neutral spine.
Hold the peak position for a second to maximize the contraction in your calf muscles.
With control, lower your heels back down to the ground.
Form Tips
Avoid leaning too heavily on the chair; use it only for balance.
Maintain slow, deliberate movement to ensure the work is done by your muscles rather than momentum.
Keep your ankles stable, avoiding rolling them inward or outward.
