Chair Elevated Leg Extension Plank
Instructions
Setup
Start in a high plank position with your hands shoulder-width apart directly under your shoulders.
Place one foot onto a sturdy chair, keeping that leg straight while the other leg hovers in the air.
Ensure your body forms a straight line from your head to your supporting heel.
Movement
From the starting position, draw the knee of the hovering leg toward your chest, engaging your core.
With control, kick the leg straight back and upward, focusing on squeezing the glute at the peak of the movement.
Keep your hips level throughout; avoid arching your back or shifting your weight excessively as you move the leg.
Complete the desired reps on one side before switching to the other.
