Instructions
Setup
Attach a small straight bar or curl bar to the low pulley of a cable machine.
Squat down in front of the cable tower, positioning yourself close enough that the arms are slightly bent when holding the bar.
Execution
Place your forearms securely onto your thighs, just above your knees, with your palms facing down toward the floor.
Your wrists should extend past your knees to allow for a full range of motion.
Allowing your wrists to hinge, slowly lower the bar as far as is comfortably possible to get a good stretch.
Initiate the movement by contracting your forearm muscles to lift your knuckles toward your forearms.
Pause briefly at the top of the movement when your wrists are fully extended, then slowly return the bar back toward the starting position.
Keep your forearms pinned to your thighs throughout the entire set to ensure the focus remains on the wrist extensors.
