Instructions

Setup

  • Attach a rope or handle to the high pulley of a cable machine.

  • Kneel on the floor facing the machine, far enough back to create tension on the cable.

  • Grasp the handle(s) with both hands and bring them near your forehead or chest.

Execution

  • Keep your hips stationary and your back slightly rounded throughout.

  • Engage your core and exhale as you flex your torso forward, bringing your elbows towards your thighs.

  • Contract your abdominals hard at the bottom of the movement.

  • Inhale while slowly and under control returning to the starting upright kneeling position.

  • Focus on using your core muscles to pull the weight, rather than pulling with your arms.
