Instructions
Setup
Attach a cable cuff to your wrist. Set the cable pulley around the height of your wrist when your arm is resting at your side, as shown in the video.
Stand sideways to the machine, holding the machine's post with your non-working hand for stability.
Movement
Start with your arm fully extended and the cable slightly behind your torso.
Keeping a slight bend in your elbow throughout the movement, lift your arm laterally away from your body until it reaches shoulder height.
Focus on initiating the movement by driving your elbow upward rather than pulling with your hand.
Squeeze your lateral delt at the peak of the movement.
Controlled and slow, lower the weight back to the starting position, maintaining constant tension on the muscle.
