Instructions
Setup
Attach a single cable handle or grip to a low pulley cable station.
Stand facing the cable station with feet shoulder-width apart.
Grasp the cable attachment with both hands, using a diamond grip (thumbs and index fingers touching to form a diamond shape).
Movement
Starting Position: With arms fully extended, hold the cable handle down near your hips.
Execution: Maintain a slight bend in your elbows and keep your core braced.
Lift: Raise your arms forward and upward in a controlled arc until they reach shoulder height, keeping the diamond grip intact.
Hold: Briefly pause at the peak of the movement, focusing on contracting your anterior deltoids.
Lowering: Slowly return the weight to the starting position along the same path, maintaining control throughout the lowering phase to maximize muscle engagement.
