Bodyweight Squat with Trunk Rotation

Setup

  • Stand with feet shoulder-width apart.

  • Place hands together in front of your chest or at your sides.

Movement

  1. Squat: Lower your hips down and back as if sitting into an invisible chair, keeping your chest up and knees aligned with your toes.

  2. Rise: Drive through your heels to return to a standing position.

  3. Rotate: Immediately upon standing, rotate your torso and upper body to one side. Pivot your feet slightly to allow for range of motion while maintaining core engagement.

  4. Repeat: Return to center, perform another squat, and then rotate to the opposite side.
