Instructions
Setup
Begin in a quadruped position (on hands and knees) on a yoga mat.
Place your hands on the floor directly beneath your shoulders, with your fingers pointing toward your knees and the backs of your hands facing the floor.
Movement
Ensure your fingers are spread wide to distribute pressure evenly.
Gently and slowly lean your hips backward toward your heels.
Stop when you feel a comfortable, deep stretch through the back of your forearms (the wrist extensors).
Hold this position for the desired duration or number of controlled repetitions, breathing deeply throughout.
Keep your arms straight but not locked, and be careful not to push into any sharp or painful sensations.
