Instructions

1. Start by standing tall with your feet shoulder-width apart and arms extended overhead.

2. Without bending your knees, start bending at the waist to your right side. As you are coming down, make a large circular sweep with your arms until they are down to your right foot.

3. Touch your toes (or as low as you can go comfortably) with your fingertips. Your head should be relaxed and looking down or slightly forward.

4. Sweep your arms to the left, drawing a big circle as you lift your torso back to the starting position with your arms extended overhead.

5. Now repeat the same sequence to your left side. Alternate from right to left, completing the specified reps.

This exercise improves flexibility in the hamstrings and lower back while also engaging the core, shoulders, and obliques. It may increase blood flow and help decrease stiffness, making it a suitable addition to a warm-up routine or as a standalone stretching exercise. Remember to do this exercise in a controlled manner to avoid any sudden or jerky movements.
