Instructions
Setup
Sit on your exercise mat with your legs extended in front of you. Lean back slightly, engaging your core muscles to maintain balance, while lifting your legs off the ground into a modified V-sit position. Extend your arms forward for balance.
Movement
From the starting leaning position, simultaneously lift one leg and bring your torso slightly forward to meet it.
Bring your arms underneath your lifted leg, clapping your hands together before returning them to the starting position.
Return your leg to the floor while maintaining a braced core.
Alternate to the opposite leg and repeat the clapping motion.
Key Tips
Keep your back straight throughout the movement.
Focus on using your abdominal muscles to lift your leg and control the torso movement, rather than relying on momentum.
Breath steadily throughout the exercise.
