Instructions
Setup
Sit upright on a stability ball with your feet planted firmly on the floor at hip-width distance to maintain balance.
Maintain a neutral spine and engage your core muscles.
Movement
Raise one arm straight up toward the ceiling.
Lean your torso slowly and controlled to the opposite side, keeping your hips stable on the ball. You should feel a stretch along the side of your torso (your obliques).
Hold the stretch momentarily, then return to the starting upright position by using your core strength.
Switch arms and lean to the other side to complete the next repetition.
Tips
Keep movements slow and deliberate rather than using momentum.
Ensure the ball remains stationary throughout the movement.
