Alternating Reach Deep-Squat
Instructions
Setup
Stand with your feet slightly wider than shoulder-width apart.
Descend into a deep squat position, maintaining an upright torso if possible.
Keep your heels on the ground.
Movement
From the deep squat, place one hand on the floor near the inside of your foot for stability.
Reach your opposing arm straight up toward the ceiling, rotating your upper back as you turn your gaze toward the raised hand.
Hold this position for a brief moment, ensuring a full rotation through the thoracic spine.
Return the reaching hand back down to the ground.
Switch sides by placing the other hand on the floor and reaching the opposite arm up toward the ceiling.
Focus on keeping your hips low throughout the entire movement.
