Instructions
Setup
Lie flat on your back on a mat with your knees bent, feet flat on the floor, and arms extended overhead.
Movement
Initiate the movement by engaging your core to lift your upper body off the ground.
As you sit up, simultaneously lift one leg and reach the opposite arm across your body toward your toes.
Aim to have your hand make contact with your foot or shin at the top of the movement.
Slowly return to the starting position with control, keeping your core engaged through the descent.
Repeat the movement on the opposite side, alternating back and forth for the duration of the set.
Tips
Maintain a steady, controlled tempo; avoid using momentum to swing your body.
Exhale sharply as you reach toward your foot, and inhale as you lower back down.
Keep your lower back pressed into the mat throughout the starting position.
