Instructions

Setup

Standing with feet shoulder-width apart, holding a single dumbbell in one hand directly between your legs. Keep your core braced and your spine neutral.

Execution

  1. Initiate the movement by driving through your hips, extending explosively to pull the dumbbell upward along the center of your body.

  2. As the dumbbell reaches shoulder height, rotate your wrist and punch the arm straight overhead, locking out the elbow while absorbing the weight with a slight knee bend.

  3. Once the arm is fully extended overhead, transition instantly into a high-knee march, lifting one knee at a time toward chest level while maintaining a stable, rigid torso under the overhead weight.

  4. Lower the weight under control back to the starting position between your legs and alternate sides or complete repetitions before switching hands.
