Instructions
Setup
Sit on the mat with both legs bent at 90-degree angles in front of you.
Your front leg should be bent with the shin parallel to your torso and the hip externally rotated.
Your back leg should be bent with the hip internally rotated, pointing away from the body.
Execution
Place your hand behind you for support on the side of the internally rotated hip (the back leg).
Maintain an upright torso and engage your core for stability.
Initiate the rotation by lifting the back knee upward while keeping the foot pinned to the floor.
Focus on driving the hip into internal rotation, bringing the back knee as close to the floor as possible while maintaining the 90-degree angle at the knee.
Keep the movement controlled and deliberate, emphasizing the stretch in the hip capsule.
Return to the starting position and repeat for the desired number of repetitions before switching sides.
