Instructions

1. Begin by loading the sled with an appropriate amount of weight. Start light if it's your first time to learn the movement and adjust as you become more skilled.

2. Approach the sled and position yourself at a comfortable distance where your arms are extended, and hands are placed on the vertical poles of the sled.

3. Lower yourself into a squat position with your feet shoulder-width apart, and your body leaning forward so that your shoulders are directly over your hands.

4. Ensure your back is straight and core is braced. Your head should be in a neutral position, aligned with your spine, and your gaze should be forward and down.

5. Drive through your legs, pressing forcefully against the ground to begin pushing the sled forward. Your arms should remain extended as you transfer the power from your legs through your arms into the sled.

6. Take quick, powerful steps, driving the sled for a predetermined distance as fast as possible. Keep your body in a forward lean throughout the movement.

7. Once you've reached the end of your distance, carefully slow down the sled to a stop.

8. Reset and prepare for the next push or unload the weight if you have completed your session.

Safety Tips: Warm up thoroughly before starting the exercise. Keep your movements controlled, and avoid any jerky motions to prevent injury. Start with lighter weight to ensure proper form and technique before adding more weight. It is better to push the sled on a surface with some resistance, such as turf or a rubber gym floor. Avoid very smooth surfaces that might cause the sled to slip suddenly. Remember to breathe steadily throughout the exercise, and adjust the weight and distance for your fitness level and training goals.
