Instructions

1. Stand facing a bench or a sturdy elevated platform while holding a kettlebell in one hand.

2. Place the foot closest to the kettlebell on top of the bench, making sure your whole foot is on the bench.

3. Push through the heel of your elevated foot to lift your body onto the bench.

4. As you step up, keep your chest up and your back straight, focusing on using the leg on the bench to do the work.

5. Briefly balance on the leg that is on top of the bench. The opposite leg can either tap the bench or be raised for added difficulty.

6. Step down with the same leg that stepped up first, returning to the starting position.

7. Perform the desired number of repetitions on one leg before switching the kettlebell to your other hand and repeating the steps with the opposite leg.

Be sure to maintain good form throughout the exercise, avoid swinging the kettlebell, and focus on controlled movements. Adjust the bench height or kettlebell weight as needed to match your fitness level.
