Instructions

Figure 8 with Towels

Positioning

1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Hold one towel in each hand, with your arms extended out to the sides at shoulder height.
3. Ensure your core is engaged and your posture is upright.

Movement Instructions

1. Starting Position: Begin by bringing both towels together in front of your body, in a straight line.
2. Create the Figure 8: Start moving the towels in a figure-eight motion, moving one towel over the other, alternating sides.
3. Upper Body Involvement: As you perform the figure-eight motion, twist your upper body slightly to emphasize the movement. This will help engage your core and shoulder muscles.
4. Maintain Control: Keep the movements controlled and smooth. Avoid rushing to ensure proper form and maximize the effectiveness of the exercise.
5. Repetitions: Continue this exercise for 30 to 60 seconds, then rest for a moment before repeating.

Tips

- Focus on keeping your arms straight but not locked.
- Maintain a steady pace to ensure that you are using the correct muscles and keeping your form.
- If you need to, slow down the movement until you feel comfortable with the motion.
