Instructions
1. Select a pair of dumbbells with an appropriate weight for your strength level.
2. Stand upright with a bench or platform in front of you while holding a dumbbell in each hand at your sides.
3. Step up onto the bench with your right foot, pressing through the heel to lift your body up.
4. As you step up, bring your left foot up to meet your right foot on the bench.
5. Stand tall on the bench, making sure to straighten your right leg at the top.
6. Carefully step back down with the left foot, followed by the right foot, to return to the starting position.
7. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, and then switch leading legs or alternate legs each step to ensure balanced muscle development.
Remember to keep your back straight and chest up throughout the movement to avoid straining your lower back. Also, the height of the bench should be such that your knee is bent at about a 90-degree angle when you place your foot on it. Adjust the weight of the dumbbells and the height of the bench as needed to suit your fitness level and ensure proper form.
