Instructions
1. Stand at the base of a staircase or in front of an aerobic step platform.
2. Step onto the first step with your right foot, pushing through your heel to lift your body. Follow with your left foot so you are standing on the step.
3. Step back down with your right foot, then your left, to return to the starting position.
4. Repeat the movement, starting with your left foot. Alternate the leading foot for each rep.
5. Maintain good posture throughout the exercise, with your chest up and shoulders back.
6. Continue stepping up and down for the desired number of repetitions or time interval.
7. To increase the intensity, you can add a jump when stepping up, use higher steps, increase the pace, or hold weights in your hands.
