Instructions
Instruction Summary: Stand on a resistance band, grip the handles, and alternate raising each hand in an arc above your head. Focus on controlled movements and maintaining a strong core throughout the exercise.
1. Position your feet: Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart, with a resistance band under your feet.
2. Prepare your hands: Grip the handles of the band with your palms facing down and your hands by your sides.
3. Start the movement: Begin by slowly raising your left hand up and out to the side in an arc motion above your head. Your palm should face forwards at the top of the movement to engage your shoulder muscles properly.
4. Control the motion: While you are lifting your left hand, keep your right hand stationary by your side.
5. Complete the movement: Once your left hand reaches the top, it should be stretched above your head with your arm fully extended and the band stretched.
6. Return to start: Lower your left arm back down to the starting position in a controlled motion.
7. Repeat with the other side: Repeat the same movement with your right hand, while the left hand remains stationary by your side.
8. Continue alternating: Continue to alternate between the left and right hand for the specified number of repetitions.
9. Maintain core strength: Remember to maintain a strong core throughout the exercise to stabilize your body and protect your lower back.
10. Focus on form and control: Make sure the movements are controlled, focusing on the muscle contraction and avoiding any jerky movements.
