Instructions
1. Stand facing a stable chair with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Place your right foot on the seat of the chair. Ensure the chair is sturdy to prevent accidents.
3. Keep your left leg straight and the foot flat on the floor.
4. With your back straight, gradually lean forward, bending at the hips towards your right leg on the chair. You should feel a stretch in the hip flexor and quadriceps of the left leg.
5. Place your hands on your right thigh or hold onto the back of the chair for balance.
6. Hold this position for 20-30 seconds, keeping the chest lifted and the core engaged.
7. Return to the starting position and repeat on the opposite leg.
Remember to breathe normally during the stretch and avoid bouncing. Adjust the intensity of the stretch by controlling how far you lean forward; you should feel a comfortable stretch, not pain.
