Instructions

1. Stand upright with your feet shoulder-width apart and your arms at your sides.

2. Begin by extending your arms in front of you at shoulder height, palms facing down.

3. Keeping your arms straight, slowly sweep them out to the sides in a wide arc until they are extended straight out to your sides, parallel with the floor.

4. Continue the sweeping motion until your arms are overhead, with your biceps close to your ears. Your palms should face forward as your arms reach the top position.

5. Reverse the sweeping motion by bringing your arms down in front of you again, palms facing down, and returning to the starting position.

6. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions or duration of time.

During the exercise, focus on maintaining a controlled and smooth range of motion to maximize the stretch in your shoulders and upper back. Keep your core engaged and avoid arching your back. This exercise can help improve shoulder mobility and is a good warm-up before engaging in upper-body strength training or activities that involve arm movements.
