Instructions

Ez Bar Standing French Press Instructions

- Weight plates (optional, based on your strength)

Starting Position:

1. Begin by standing with your feet shoulder-width apart.
2. Grasp the EZ bar with both hands, using an overhand grip. Your hands should be positioned closer together at the angled part of the bar.
3. Raise the bar to your upper back, resting it just above your shoulder blades. Your elbows should be pointing forward and close to your head.

Movement Instructions:

1. Engage your core and keep your back straight.
2. Press the barbell upward by extending your elbows, moving the bar directly above your head. Make sure to keep your arms close to your ears throughout the movement.
3. Once your arms are fully extended, pause for a moment at the top.
4. Slowly lower the bar back to the starting position, ensuring to control the movement and prevent your elbows from flaring out.
5. Repeat for the desired number of repetitions, maintaining good form throughout the exercise.

Tips for Beginners:

- Start with light weight to master the form before adding heavier plates.
- Avoid arching your back; keep your torso stable to prevent injury.
- Breathe out during the upward press and inhale as you lower the bar.
